VSI series vertical shaft impact crusher is developed on the basis of many years’ research and the experiences of manufacturing mining machinery; it combines the advanced technology of home and abroad. It is used to crush the brittle materials with Mohs hardness below 9; while, it is not suitable for viscous material and rock with much dirt. The machine can be widely used in metal and non-metallic minerals, building materials, sand making, crushing and shaping of various metallurgical slags.

Working principle of VSI series vertical shaft impact crusher

In vertical shaft impact crusher, material of high speed is crushed by self-broken mutual friction. This type of impact crusher can not only be used for crushing but also for shaping of stones.

According to feeding method, the working of vertical shaft impact crusher can be divided into central feeding and central with cascade feeding; while the crushing method can be divided into “rock on rock’ and “rock on iron” according to material compressive strength. Therefore, there are four working forms: central with cascade feeding “rock on rock” and rock on iron”; central feeding “rock on rock” and rock on iron”.
